Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, established in 1958, is a State University recognized under section 12(B) and 2(f) of UGC Act. The University fosters 52 on-campus academic departments, and 02 satellite campus in Dharashiv and Ratnagiri. The University has a proven track record of significant research and development in a wide spectrum of verticals. This university has contributed to the progress of adjoining regions and people in innumerable ways. Since its inception, the university has around 428 colleges affiliated to it, which come under four districts (Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed and Dharashiv) of Maharashtra State. The student population exceeds 4.6 lakhs. Through last decade, Dr. BAMU has taken several concrete steps to fortify the skill development sector through a plethora of in-campus and off-campus activities. The Deen Dayal Upadhyay KAUSHAL Kendra (established in 2013) and Dr. BAMU Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Centre (established in 2021), stands among the flagship efforts in this direction
Objective of the Program
An automotive technology program aims to equip students with a balanced blend of specialized skills pertinent to the automotive industry, along with a solid foundation in general education. The overarching goal is to ensure that students are adequately prepared with both technical know-how and broader knowledge to enter the workforce at various stages of the program.
