Rustomjee Prestige Vocational Education & Training Centre LLP
Rustomjee Prestige Vocational Education and Training Centre LLP (RPVETC), incorporated in 2017 having its Centre at Prestige Terminus2, HAL, Bengaluru. RPVETC is a joint venture of two leading property development companies namely, Prestige Group and Rustomjee Group who have an experience of over 3 decades in the construction industry. The two construction industry giants understood that there is a need to create skilled manpower to improve the quality of construction in the Country.
In order to cater to the growing demands of skilled manpower in the industry, the center was formed with the primary objective of bridging the gap between individuals and the jobs availability to ensure development of employability skills in the aspirants who are interested in getting certified as skilled workmen. There is a lot of untapped potential which can be channelized, skilled and equipped adequately to take up employment. The Centre offers various Part time / Full Time Diploma, Graduation and Post-graduation programmes from different trades such as Civil, Electrical, Plumbing, Water Proofing, Fire Safety & Other customized programmes to suit the requirement of the Real Estate / Construction Industry.
RPVETC is actively engaged in the execution of Customized Training programmes to Corporates; In addition to conducting various skilling / upskilling projects that are initiated by the State / Central Governments (CMKKY, PMKVY, NIPUN etc.,). Training of the candidates are conducted as per the established standards by Industry Sector Skill Council, and National Skills Development Corporation.
- The Centre now affiliated as Training Partner with Construction Skill Development Council of India – Mason, Electrical and Barbender.
- RPVETC is now recognised as an Exclusive Training of Trainers Centre by CSDCI.
- RPVETC has registered under Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council.
- Memorandum of Understanding signed with CSDCI to conduct Multi Skilled Technician programme under joint certification mode (Certificate upon successful completion to bear the seal of CSDCI & RPVETC.
- Created exclusive laboratory to impart hand-on training under Rural Mason, Barbending, Electrical and Plumbing for Construction industry.
Programmes Conducted post Affiliations:
1. The Centre was given a work order to conduct NIPUN (National Initiative for Promoting Urban and Nirmaan Workers) RPL Batches, since we were directly affiliated to CSDCI. We conducted on-site training for 224 workers under the Scheme.
2. Conducted 5 batch covering 76 participants who have been certified as Trainers and Master Trainers under ToT / ToA Scheme.
3. Imparted 8 batches of hands-on training to nearly 200 PPMS Employees under various job roles like Plumbers, Maintenance Supervisors, GREs etc.
- New initiative to conduct batches under Hospitality Sector for F&B Service, Housekeeping cum Guest Room Bed Making and fGuest Relations Executive under certification from Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council.
- Conduct short term workshops in Plumbing & Electrical for hands-on Training for individual participants as well as corporate nominations.
- Prepare curriculum to start Fee based long term Diploma / Degree programmes in Engineering in collaboration with Sikkim University.
