About VIA Themis Rustomjee Skill Institute

The VIA–Rustomjee–Themis Skill Institute (VTR) is a collaborative initiative led by the Vapi Industries Association (VIA), Rustomjee Academy for Global Careers (RAGC), and Themis Medicare Ltd. and Gujarat Themis Biosyn Limited established at the Centre of Excellence, GIDC Vapi. The Institute aims to create a structured, industry – driven skill development ecosystem that supports the growing workforce requirements of the Vapi industrial region.

The Institute has begin its operations with Electrical Training Program, addressing one of the most essential and high-demand skill areas across manufacturing and process industries. The program will provide learners with practical, hands-on training supported by industry-grade tools, equipment, and real-world applications.

As part of its long-term roadmap, the Institute plans to expand into specialized technical domains, including:

● Assistant Operator – Chemical Plant
● Analytical Instruments Mechanic

These advanced programs will be aligned with the needs of chemical, pharmaceutical, and allied industries, helping to bridge the skills gap and create a steady pipeline of competent operators and technicians.
All training at the Institute will be delivered by Rustomjee Academy for Global Careers (RAGC), a nationally recognized vocational education institution known for its experience in curriculum design, industry partnerships, and high-quality training delivery. RAGC will ensure that every learner receives outcome-based, industry-aligned training that enhances employability and prepares them for immediate workforce integration.
Through this unique collaboration, VIA provides sectoral insights and direct industry linkage. Themis Medicare strengthens the initiative through its CSR commitment, and RAGC ensures educational excellence. Together, the VIA–Rustomjee–Themis Skill Institute is positioned to become a leading regional hub for technical skill
development, contributing meaningfully to the socio-economic growth of the Vapi region.
